Charging for buildings and condominiums with several spaces

When several owners want to charge, it pays to plan the garage as a whole. Well-planned shared infrastructure avoids ten different installations and cables everywhere.

What we check on the visit

  • Power available to the building
  • How many spaces now and later
  • Room for a panel and cable tray
  • Metering and splitting of consumption
  • Dynamic load management between chargers
  • Safety, access and traffic in the garage

Why a shared solution

Individual installations, one at a time, work for the first few cars. As more owners join, each new cable gets harder and the garage fills with different routes. Shared infrastructure solves this from the start: one main route, branches to each space and room to grow.

Load management

With several cars charging at once, dynamic load management shares the available power between chargers without exceeding what the building can take. It avoids unnecessary power increases and tripping.

For the administration

We carry out the technical visit, present the solution and phasing options, and explain what needs to be decided at the owners’ meeting. The proposal is clear for every owner.

7.4, 11 or 22 kW?

More power does not always mean faster charging. What your car accepts and what your installation can take decide it.

  • 7.4 kW The usual choice at home

Works with most single-phase home supplies. If you charge overnight, it is more than enough in most cases.

  • 11 kW If you have three-phase

The most many cars accept on AC. Needs a three-phase supply and compatible contracted power.

  • 22 kW For businesses and specific cases

Only worth it if the car accepts 22 kW on AC and the power is available. Rarely the best choice at home.

Frequently asked questions

Does each owner pay for their own energy?

Yes, with metering per space or per user. We explain the metering options in the proposal.

Can we start with just a few chargers?

Yes. The main infrastructure can be prepared and chargers added as owners join.

What if an owner already has an individual charger?

We assess the existing installation and see whether it can stay as it is or be integrated into the shared solution.
