From the fuse board to your parking space. EV charger installation in Porto.

Wallboxes for houses, condominium parking spaces, apartment buildings and businesses. We come to the site, look at the panel, the power and the cable route, and only then make a proposal.

Every space has its own route

The charger is the easy part. What changes from case to case is where the power comes from and where the cable runs.

  1. Granite house with an electric car charging in the driveway

    House

Usually the simplest case: the house panel, a garage or driveway, and a dedicated line to the wallbox. We check whether your contracted power is enough or worth adjusting.

    • Dedicated line from the panel
    • Protection devices of its own
    • Indoors, garage or outdoors
    Houses
  2. Underground condominium garage with a wallbox on a pillar

    Space in a condominium

You are entitled to install in your own space, at your own cost. The charger connects to your flat’s meter and the cable runs through common areas, so the building administration must be told in writing.

    • Connected to your own meter
    • Route through common areas

  3. Row of chargers in a building garage linked by a cable tray

    Building with several spaces

For administrators and owners who want the garage ready for several chargers without redoing everything later: shared infrastructure, power management and metering per space.

    • Infrastructure designed to grow
    • Dynamic load management
    • Clear metering per user
    Buildings, several spaces
  4. Company car park with charging stations

    Businesses and fleets

Charging for company cars, staff or customers: offices, shops, hotels, workshops. Sized for real use, with room for more points.

    • Sized for actual use
    • Wall or pedestal chargers
    • Phased expansion
    Businesses and fleets

What we check before proposing

Every case is different. On the visit we follow the power from the meter to where you park.

  1. Meter and power

Contracted power, single or three-phase, and whether the charger fits what you already have.

  2. Electrical panel

Free space, condition of the panel and the protection the charger needs.

  3. Cable route

Distance, walls and floors to cross, trunking or conduit, indoors or outdoors.

  4. Building rules

Common areas, the condominium administration, access and safety.

  5. The right charger

Power, how it fits the home supply, and features like load management or an app.

7.4, 11 or 22 kW?

More power does not always mean faster charging. What your car accepts and what your installation can take decide it.

  • 7.4 kW The usual choice at home

Works with most single-phase home supplies. If you charge overnight, it is more than enough in most cases.

  • 11 kW If you have three-phase

The most many cars accept on AC. Needs a three-phase supply and compatible contracted power.

  • 22 kW For businesses and specific cases

Only worth it if the car accepts 22 kW on AC and the power is available. Rarely the best choice at home.

Live in an apartment? The condominium cannot simply say no.

Portugal’s electric mobility regime (Decree-Law 93/2025, article 23) lets any owner install a charging point in their own space, at their own cost, provided the technical requirements are met.

  • When the cable uses or crosses common areas, the administration is told in writing at least 30 days in advance.
  • Objection is only possible on the grounds set out in the law, such as an equivalent shared solution or a risk proven by a technical report.
  • We help you prepare the technical information for the notice to the condominium.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install a wallbox in my parking space in a condominium?

Yes. The law lets any owner install a charging point at their own cost. When the installation uses common areas, the administration must be told in writing at least 30 days in advance and can only object on specific grounds. See the condominium guide.

How much does it cost to install a charger?

It depends mainly on the distance to the panel, the condition of the installation, the available power and the charger chosen. That is why we do not quote without seeing the site: we visit and give you a proposal for your case.

Do I need to increase my contracted power?

Not always. Many wallboxes have dynamic load management, which lowers the charging power when the house is using more. On the visit we look at your consumption and tell you whether adjusting it is worthwhile.

Is the charger connected to my own meter?

In a house, yes, from the house panel. In a condominium, it usually connects to your flat’s meter, with a cable to your space. In buildings with several spaces, shared infrastructure with metering per space can make more sense.

Do you supply the charger or do I buy it?

We can handle both the equipment and the installation, or install a charger you already have, as long as it suits your installation.

Which areas do you cover?

Greater Porto (Porto, Gaia, Matosinhos, Maia, Gondomar, Valongo, Espinho and surroundings) and also Braga, Aveiro and the rest of the North. See the areas we cover.
